We deliver secure and reliable IoT solutions and generate value for customers through digital transformation.
The winners of the eAward 2018 have been announced. On 20 February 2018, economically potent, customer-friendly and innovative IT projects from all over Austria were awarded in seven categories at an impressive ceremony at the T-Center in Vienna. A total of 43 projects were nominated.
Together with our partner trinitec and our customer Hauser Kühlmöbel, we have submitted the project „Smart & cool - the cooling rack for the future of digitization at the point of sale" in the category "Industry 4.0".
The Carinthian think tanks IoT40 Systems and trinitec are building on the revolution of the refrigerated shelf. Together with Upper Austrian manufacturer of commercial refrigerated cabinets, Hauser, these devices are now digitized. Sensor-equipped shelves identify customers by age and gender, register withdrawals and returns, and provide enhanced visibility of goods and offers. Combined with data analysis, this opens up completely new possibilities of sales optimization.
This is how the expert jury evaluated our project:
The award ceremony was structured similar to the Oscar awards in the USA and therefore particularly exciting for all nominees.
...and the winner is:
WE - together with trinitec, Hauser and Netavis we received our eAward 2018.
The nominee videos entertained all guests.
Big data is being talked about since several years, but it is the small data where often the greatest business impact can be achieved followed by impressive cost reduction and all this with a very manageable invest.
We have cases where customers could save tremendous amounts of money with just a few bits and bytes, and it did not require them to have tons of data in the cloud.
Connected IoT devices produce a vast amount of diverse data as never seen before. However, it takes awhile until the data reach the cloud. Meanwhile chances to react properly might be lost forever. Fog or edge computing resolves this issue by bringing computing power closer to your devices, to your network edge.
Our IoT solutions analyze your most critical data directly where the data is generated. This allows to react on IoT data in almost no time and critical situations are handled instantly. Finally, selected data is stored in the cloud for backup and historical analysis.
A 3-day workshop to define initial requirements, gather relevant information and agree on a pilot project.
In 2 weeks a jointly defined pilot will be implemented.
The 1 month pilot integration includes deployment, iterative improvements, evaluation and testing.
Finally, in less than 7 weeks, you will have a fully working bulletproof edge-to-edge pilot application customized to your organization.
